The Yamauchi Collection of Art Museum was founded in 1995 to house the private collection of the YAMAUCHI family, a feudal lord family in the Tosa region during the Edo period. The collection includes armor, brush paintings, tea ceremony articles, Noh masks, and ancient literature.
