This national museum exhibits Buddhist arts and crafts from the Aska period to the Muromachi period. The architecture is made of brick and was built in the middle of the Meiji period; it's designated as a National Treasure. The architecture itself is also worthy to see.

The Nara Prefectural Museum was established in 1973 to exhibit paintings, sculptures, arts and crafts from Japan as well as the overseas. Overglazed enamel wares by TOMIMOTO Kenkichi among pottery and porcelain collection is notable.

The Neiraku Art Museum was established in 1940 to exhibit the private collection of NAKAMURA Junsaku, a successful business man. The collection includes precious ancient oriental arts, such as Chinese copper ware, porcelain of Song dynasty, Korean porcelain of RI and Koryo dynasty are housed. The building of the museum was originally built in 1673, there is also tea room in the same site. Special exhibition is held once a year, the display of collection would be changed every July.

The TOMIMOTO Kenkichi Memorial Museum was founded in 1974 to exhibit the precious porcelain works by TOMIMOTO Kenkichi. The building of the museum was originally the house where he was born.
